AppraisalFlo, LLC (“AppraisalFlo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the information entrusted to us.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, maintain, disclose, and protect information in connection with our websites, software applications, communications, and related products and services collectively referred to as the “AppraisalFlo Platform.”
The AppraisalFlo Platform includes the website located at www.appraisalflo.com, AppraisalFlo-hosted applications and portals, mobile-accessible services, integrations, communications, and other related services provided by AppraisalFlo.
This Privacy Policy applies to individuals and organizations that interact with AppraisalFlo, including customers, authorized users, lenders, appraisal management companies, appraisers, inspectors, vendors, borrowers, property owners, property contacts, and other individuals involved in appraisal, valuation, or property inspection transactions.
1. Our Role in Processing Information
AppraisalFlo provides technology used to facilitate appraisal, valuation, property inspection, vendor management, workflow management, communications, and related services.
Depending on the circumstances, AppraisalFlo may collect and process information:

Directly from individuals who use or interact with the AppraisalFlo Platform;

On behalf of organizations that use AppraisalFlo, such as lenders, appraisal management companies, valuation providers, and other customers;

From appraisers, inspectors, vendors, and other professionals participating in an assignment;

From information provided in connection with an appraisal, valuation, or property inspection order.
When AppraisalFlo processes Personal Information on behalf of a customer, that customer may control how the information is collected and used. In those circumstances, the customer’s own privacy policies and legal obligations may also apply.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Account and Business Information
When you register for or use the AppraisalFlo Platform, we may collect information such as:

Depending on the nature of an assignment, this information may include:

Some of this information may be provided to AppraisalFlo by our customers or integrated systems rather than directly by the individual to whom the information relates.
2.3 Billing and Payment Information
When payments or financial transactions are processed through the AppraisalFlo Platform, we may collect or process billing-related information such as:

Invoices and payment history;

Payment information may be processed by third-party payment processors acting on our behalf. Depending on the payment method and system configuration, AppraisalFlo may not directly store complete payment card or banking credentials.

We may collect information when you communicate with AppraisalFlo or communicate through functionality provided by the AppraisalFlo Platform.

AppraisalFlo may collect mobile telephone numbers from users, borrowers, property contacts, appraisers, inspectors, vendors, and other individuals involved in an appraisal, valuation, or property inspection transaction.
When an individual elects to receive SMS or text messages from AppraisalFlo, we may collect and maintain information related to that consent, including:

Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or receiving appraisal, valuation, or inspection services.

2.6 Technical, Device, and Usage Information
When you access or use the AppraisalFlo Platform, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, including:

For example, an appraisal management company or lender may provide AppraisalFlo with information necessary to establish and process an appraisal order, including borrower or property contact information.
We may also receive or exchange information through integrations with systems authorized by our customers.

AppraisalFlo may use email addresses and other contact information to provide:

Consent to AppraisalFlo’s appraisal and inspection SMS program does not constitute consent to receive unrelated marketing or promotional text messages.

AppraisalFlo does not sell or rent Personal Information.
We may disclose Personal Information when reasonably necessary to operate our business, provide requested services, fulfill an assignment, comply with legal obligations, or protect legitimate interests.

Information may be shared with parties authorized to participate in an appraisal, valuation, inspection, or related transaction, including:

When a customer enables or directs an integration, AppraisalFlo may exchange information with that system as reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality.
Use of information by an independent third-party service may also be governed by that third party’s privacy policy and terms.
5.4 Legal and Regulatory Disclosures
We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:

Any successor organization receiving Personal Information will remain subject to applicable privacy obligations governing that information.
5.6 Mobile Information and SMS Consent
AppraisalFlo does not sell, rent, share, or otherwise provide mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or SMS messaging consent to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Mobile information may be processed by service providers acting on AppraisalFlo’s behalf when necessary to operate and deliver AppraisalFlo’s messaging services. Such providers may use the information only as necessary to provide services to AppraisalFlo and are subject to appropriate contractual, confidentiality, and data protection obligations.
Mobile information may also be used or disclosed as reasonably necessary to facilitate the appraisal, valuation, or inspection service requested by or on behalf of the individual, or when disclosure is required by law.
Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their independent marketing or promotional purposes.
SMS consent is specific to the messaging program for which it was provided and will not be sold or transferred to another party for that party’s independent marketing or promotional use.
6. SMS and Text Messaging
AppraisalFlo provides optional SMS communications relating to the AppraisalFlo Platform and appraisal, valuation, and property inspection services.
Individuals may opt in through a consent mechanism provided by AppraisalFlo, such as an online form or account setting.
Where web-based consent is used, individuals are presented with an affirmative consent option before enrollment in the applicable SMS program.
SMS communications may include:

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan.
Opting Out
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to an AppraisalFlo text message.
After an opt-out request is processed, you will no longer receive messages from the applicable SMS program except as permitted or required to confirm your opt-out.

Voluntary Consent
Consent to receive SMS messages is voluntary and is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or receiving appraisal, valuation, or property inspection services.
Declining or withdrawing SMS consent does not prevent an individual from receiving necessary communications through other available channels.

7. Data Retention
AppraisalFlo retains Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to:

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, the nature of the relationship, customer instructions, contractual requirements, and applicable law.
AppraisalFlo may retain records of SMS consent, opt-in and opt-out activity, messaging preferences, and related communications for as long as reasonably necessary to administer our messaging programs, demonstrate compliance, resolve disputes, and maintain appropriate records.
When Personal Information is no longer reasonably necessary, it may be deleted, anonymized, or securely disposed of in accordance with our data retention practices.
Backup, disaster recovery, audit, or archival copies may persist for a limited period after information is deleted from active systems.

AppraisalFlo uses administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect Personal Information from unauthorized access, acquisition, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

You may unsubscribe from promotional email communications by following the unsubscribe instructions contained in the applicable message.
You may opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP.
Transactional or service-related communications that are necessary to administer an account, provide a requested service, maintain security, or fulfill legal obligations may continue through appropriate non-SMS channels when necessary.
10. Children’s Privacy
The AppraisalFlo Platform is intended for business, professional, and transaction-related use and is not directed to children under the age of 13.
AppraisalFlo does not knowingly collect Personal Information directly from children under 13 through services directed to children.
